It’s the kind of place where locals find refuge during a busy day and visitors quickly feel at home.

The menu echoes that same sense of approachable, heartfelt hospitality. It’s not about fussy trends or complicated plates, but a sincere nod to home-cooked American classics crafted with care. We tried the lunch special, a ribeye steak with 2 sides and a roll for $12.99. The steak was cooked just as I ordered it. The sides you can pick from were onion rings, pasta salad, orange fluff, chicken salad and ff. I tried the chicken salad which was delicious. We also had homemade broccoli cheddar soup which was thick and creamy. The fried bologna sandwich with lettuce and tomato was delightful. The staff are very nice, friendly and quick. They had peach cobbler, apple pecan cobbler for dessert. We will go back for more good country cooking.

The staff is super friendly. The prices are very reasonable and our lunch was tasty. My hamburger was huge and the fries were plentiful.

Ask a local where to eat and you can't go wrong! While traveling through Siler City, looking for a place to eat, we pulled over at the local pharmacy and I went in and just asked. We landed at the Cowboy Cafe and what a gem! I can't say enough about how good the food, prices, atmosphere and service were. With everything homemade how can you go wrong? Relaxed and friendly place. Definitely worth going. Thanks for a great experience!

OMG. We found WONDERFUL restaurant today. I have not had a cheeseburger this good since I left Nebraska. Real beef. Big patties, fresh tomatoes and the cheese was also good. The fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly. This restaurant is worth a drive out of Wake County. It is busy but the service is prompt and amazing. Thank you for the great customers, food and service.

Great little spot with a limited menu but good food and great atmosphere and friendly staff. The cowboy burger was excellent and a great way to get more patty without having to deal with cumbersome two patties.
